I went to the beech this afternoon and the water was nice. Lots of people swimming

A cool breeze from the sea made the hot weather bearable

Today was a hard 200km of driving with lots of steep hills

I’m now at a campground in “l’Anse-au-griffon”

I see all kinds of pets

I’m now at Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and the fog has lifted. Beautiful coast and more hills

After a bit of shopping in Rimouski , a nice walk on the beach

I visited Levis next to Quebec City and did some shopping

I had super at “La Libellule” in Saint -Jean-Port-Joli

Today we went to “Lac-Mégantic” and saw the extent of the destruction from the train crash

Aujourd’hui nous sommes allés aux villages de “Lac-Mégantic” ou nous avons constaté la destruction causée par l’accident de train

They have a number of buildings rebuilt

I’m now at a campground next to the St-Laurent river in Montmagny

Je suis maintenant à un camping le long du fleuve St-Laurent dans le village de Montmagny

Nice place and no rain yet

Une belle place et pas de pluie pour l’instant

In Montmagny there is a ferry to take people to the island “L’Isle-Aux-Grues” where a few farmers make cheese

Dans Montmagny il y a une navette qui amène des personnes à “L’Isle-Aux-Grues” ou un nombre de fermier font du fromage

I also learned that the ferry has to watch for high tide. I did not know that there was tides this close to Quebec City

J’ai aussi appris que la navette doit tiendre compte de la marrée haute . Je ne savais pas que la marré existait si proche de la ville de Québec
